My most favorite thing after lunch/dinner is to gorge on something sweet preferably something with chocolate. This single habit made me dig for a gooey, moist, delicious brownie recipe that doesn’t have me count my calorie soon after eating. Black bean brownies are the best when you’re looking for that chocolate piece in your fridge or table counter. Bake a batch and they store easy in the freezer for a month! I promise they’re truly gooey, truly easy to make and SO healthy! NO gluten , NO dairy and NO refined sugar!
Black beans provide all the fiber and nutrients that your body needs BUT disguised as a dessert so you don’t taste them at all ! They provide an amazing creamy, moist texture to these brownies that i guarantee , no one will stop at one. Get baking, my ninjas and enjoy these wonderful utterly moist and ridiculously easy to make BB brownies.

Black beans – 15 oz 1 can ( rinsed thoroughly)
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
Cocoa powder – 5 tbsp ( I use Rodelle Gourmet Baking Cocoa Powder )
…………………………………………………………………………………………………
Chocolate chips – ½ cup
………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Maple syrup – ¼ cup
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
Almond butter – ¼ cup
………………………………………………………………………………………………
Baking soda – 1 tsp
……………………………………………………………………………………………..
Vanilla extract – 2 tsp
……………………………………………………………………………………………..
Salt – ½ tsp

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 365 degree, place parchment paper in your tin and make sure there is enough parchment paper overflowing the baking tin.
…………………………………………………………………………………………….
Combine all except the chocolate chips in a food processor.

The mix should be a smooth puree. Blend until it reaches that consistency scraping down the mixture as and when needed.
……………………………………………………………………………………………
Empty the batter in a separate bowl and fold in the chocolate chips.
…………………………………………………………………………………………..
Place the mix onto your tin and bake for 45 minutes if you like them moist or 50 minutes if you like them slightly crisp on the outside.
……………………………………………………………………………………………
Remove from the oven and allow at least 50-60 minutes to cool before slicing.
