Blackberry Blueberry Bliss!

This truly in every sense is BLISS. This is the only smoothie that my husband has without any complaints or push. In these summers this color and that combination is everything you need after a long day at work or if you’re anything like me, this gives me the boost I need when I am testing out four recipes in a day and have multiple meetings to attend. Believe me, somedays I wake up craving this smoothie with some seeds to bite into and read a book. The combination of berries with dates and chilled coconut milk is so tempting and cooling that I can drink this every afternoon if temperatures keep going this high..sigh!
Blackberries are packed with Vitamin C and hence the best to start your day with. Berries are also high in antioxidants so help keep the skin glowing and flush out toxins.

Ingredients –

  • Blackberries – 1 pack
  • Blueberries ( frozen) – 1/2 cup
  • Dates – 5-6 ( depending on the sweetness level )
  • Coconut milk – 1 cup
  • Spinach – 1/2 cup
  • Chia seeds – 2 tbsp
  • Hemp seeds – 1 tsp
  • Pomegranate seeds – 2 tbsp
  • Ice cubes – 4
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
  • Shredded coconut flakes – 1 tbsp

Directions –

  • Blend all except coconut flakes until a smooth consistency is reached.
  • Pour in a chilled glass with some coconut flakes on top.
